Rayfield named interim president at Bainbridge State

[private]Stuart Rayfield, a professor at Columbus State University, has been named interim president of Bainbridge State College.

She will take over the job on June 1 as the replacement for Interim President Shawn McGee, who has been appointed vice president for fiscal affairs at Albany State University.

“Her experience in servant leadership and student affairs will be a great fit for the college and community,” University System Chancellor Hank Huckaby said.

Rayfield currently holds the Frank D. Brown Distinguished Chair in Servant Leadership as an associate professor and director of the Servant Leadership Program at Columbus State University.

She previously served as interim associate provost for Undergraduate Education at Columbus State in 2015.
