Frum is Armstrong State’s interim president

[private]Jennifer Frum has been appointed the interim president of Armstrong State University in Savannah, effective July 1 with the retirement of President Linda Bleicken.

Frum is currently vice president for public service and outreach at the University of Georgia, where she oversees the university’s outreach and economic development efforts.

“Jennifer brings to Armstrong more than 20 years of experience dedicated to our University System’s mission of teaching, research and service,” University System Chancellor Steve Wrigley said. “Jennifer has been a leader in our University System helping Georgia be competitive economically and preparing students to be better citizens.”

Frum earlier was deputy director and interim director of the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute. She began at UGA in 1995 as a researcher in the office of international development.
