Deal names Nunn as new DOAS commissioner

[private]Gov. Nathan Deal has appointed Christoper Nunn as commissioner of the Department of Administrative Services (DOAS), the agency that handles state procurement and human resources matters.

Nunn will replace Sid Johnson, who is moving to a new job at the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia, effective April 1.

Nunn has been deputy commissioner of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs since September 2015. Before joining state government, he operated a professional services firm in Atlanta and spent 13 years as a management consultant.
